Bill Hogan
Bill is the Owner of Northeast Kingdom Physical Therapy in Newport and Island Pond. Bill’s specializes in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. Bill has a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine from Keene State College and an Master of Science in Physical Therapy from UMASS Lowell. Bill has over 30 years experience in his field. Bill opened NEKPT at the Newport Clinic in 2002 and the Island Pond Clinic in 2008. In the summer of 2009, the new clinic was built and opened November 9, 2009. Bill’s interest include spending time with his wife, Jan and sons Connor and Aidan, Windsurfing, Skiing and traveling.

Jan Hogan
Jan is the Co-owner of Northeast Kingdom Physical Therapy. Jan has a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and her specialty is in Recreation and Fitness. Jan is the Office Manager and Fitness Trainer at the Newport Clinic. Jan’s interests include being with Bill, Connor and Aidan and doing anything outside.


Anthony J. Tomaselli
Anthony is a native of Vermont and lives in Lyndonville with his wife and two children. He completed the P.T. program at The University of Vermont in 1998. Since then, he has had a diversity of experience helping people with work, sport related injuries, posture, and balance of gait deficits and special populations such as geriatric care and neurologic rehabilitation. As manager of NEKPT’s Island Pond clinic, he enjoys providing ‘a vital service for this rural community’. Anthony is now pursuing a manual therapy certification to accentuate his primary interest in upper and lower extremities and spinal orthopedic issues.

Paula Hoyt
Paula Hoyt attended Lasell College in Newton, MA and graduated in 1995. Paula has worked in out- patient and in- patient settings. She has 12 years of aquatic Physical Training experience. She currently lives in Orleans with her husband and her 2 children. Her hobbies include camping and snow shoeing with her family.


Kim Willard
Office Assistant. Kim started at NEKPT in March 2011 and has been a great part of our team. Her duties include welcoming new patients and gym members, answering phones, scheduling and many other duties. Before coming to NEKPT, Kim was manager of a local convenience store for 12 years. In 2010, Kim went back to school and received her Associates of Applied Science in Business Administration from Kaplan University. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, my 2 children, going for walks and shopping.

Marilyn Maxwell
Admininistrative Assistant since 2010. Marilyn retired as a judicial employee and decided to “recycle” herself back in to employment and we were lucky enough to have her work with Anthony J. Tomaselli, P.T in the Island Pond Clinic. When not working or volunteering, she loves spending time with her husband, Douglas, and other family members and following her granddaughter and grandson to their sporting events.

LisaCiapciakLisa Ciapciak PTA
Lisa was born and raised in Norwood Massachusetts and served in the Armed Forces from 1979-1985. After returning to Massachusetts, Lisa worked in Pharmacy until 2000. She then decided to move to the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont and went back to school in 2010 to become a Physical Therapist Assistant. Lisa enjoys hiking, snowshoeing, hunting and snowmobiling. Lisa joined the staff of NEKPT in May 2012.

Howie LockamyHowie Lockamy
Howie is one of our Fitness Trainers. Howie has been in the Fitness Industry for over 15 years, ranging from a General Manager of two health clubs in southern Alabama to selling fitness equipment, supplements, personal training and sales. Howie likes fitness, reading, traveling and most importantly spending as much time as possible with his daughter Avalon.

Lynn was born and raised in Northern California and she and her husband moved to the Northeast Kingdom in 2004. Lynn has a BA in Physical Education/Kinesiology and an AS in Physical Therapy Assisting. Lynn has worked in Outpatient Clinics since graduating in 1996. Lynn enjoys spending time with her husband and son, as well as numerous outdoor activities.
